Like it or not, we live in a capitalist world. We were never going to pull this shit off if we didn't have the ability to not only be self sufficient but also have something to offer on a global scale.
I worry a little about kids growing up there. In theory it'll be great for them, but... Maybe I'm just old, Logan, but I worry that they'll either get not realise how dangerous humans can be, OR they'll go the other way and think they're all terrible. I suppose as the island's resident human-lover I could be accused of bias.
